News of Note
Name Our Quilt
Our raffle quilt needs a name. See the Quilt show page for the details.
We need you for the Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee needs two members at large from the guild to help the three members of the Executive Board nominate a new President for the 2012-2014 term. The commitment will be short-term. If you wish to volunteer, please contact any of the three members who have volunteered: Judy Merra, Carol Bradford, and Carol McCreary. Thank you very much!
Join a Membership Quilting Circle
Let's revive an old tradition: quilting circles - a regular meeting with other quilters to sew and socialize. Please think about how you would like to participate. At our next meeting (or on the website) we will have a survey asking for days and times you are available, if you could host at your house, how many you can accommodate, and more.
Groups will be structured so that all their meeting days/times are published and anyone can go to any group as their schedule allows. Attendees will contact the hostess before the meeting as attendance will be limited per hostess room size! We will collate survey results and get these groups started as soon as possible.
Your membership chairs, Ellen and Barbara
